Find Healthy Alternatives to Your Favourite Dishes
You might love nothing more than a big bowl of mac and cheese. Or maybe you just love fries covered in full fat mayo. These dishes taste nice, but they aren’t exactly good for us! Instead, find ways you can recreate these dishes using healthy ingredients. Use whole grain pasta and a low fat cheese, or better yet, avocado as an alternative. Use sweet potatoes to make fries and use greek yoghurt with herbs and spices to make a nice sauce. There are all kinds of things you can do!
Only Do Exercise that You Enjoy
Exercise is a must for a healthy life, but many people give in. Why? They don’t do exercise that they enjoy. If you want to stick to anything, you absolutely must enjoy it. Try out different classes and styles of training to see what you like best. Then you can commit to doing it a few times a week for the best results.
Monitor Your Progress
Monitoring your progress can motivate and make you want to improve further. Write down how fast you ran or what weight you used and aim to improve each time. You probably won’t be able to do this very quickly, but watching yourself improve will feel amazing and make you want to continue.
Say No to Bad Habits
