I honestly believe that the right answers are out there, but there is so much fluff and misinformation that an average person like you or me looking to lose weight becomes quickly deluged by a trove of information. We become sick with the conflicting advice and end up doing nothing at all. There are countless success stories as well, which were lifesavers to me while I sat home depressed on weekends, confident about my inability to change my unattractiveness and obesity.
But I was suffering from something even more scary than that – information overload. I trawled the Internet looking at so many articles, and there was so much information out there!
Bad information, Marketing Hype, Body-Type Specific Advice and Misinformation from newbies who don’t know what they’re talking about!
I’m fortunate to have found out a clear-cut method that actually works – Intermittent Fasting. It’s not the only Holy Grail, but it is as effective a method as any to cut through your fat with minimum effort on your side. Intermittent fasting provides us with a solid, scientific strategy that helps you reach your weight loss goals, one tiny change at a time.
Let’s blow a common misconception out of the water – I dreaded going into starvation mode – the scary period where if you start fasting, your body starts packing weight instead of losing it, as a self-defense mechanism. Intermittent Fasting works by hacking your hunger hormones and producing a significant metabolic effect in your body that kickstarts the process of fat loss. This trigger is built into our body since we were cave-women and cave-men – and we now have access to it, and we can use it to our advantage.

I despise them even more so, because I have fallen prey to them. It can get a bit complicated and sometimes you need someone to hold your hand and give you motivation. When I got my feet wet, I went on to single meals a day. That’s when the magic kicked in – I started feeling great! My scales would show lower numbers every day, without fail. In all probability, no – unless you have a heave routine of crunches and squats going for you. But if you want to strip away that ugly looking fat from your body, and even if you do weight training and want to lower your overall body fat percentage in a relatively short time – THIS is the way to go for you!
